"Absolutely phenomenal! A must-do in Healesville. Can't speak highly enough of the service, the staff are wonderful. Food was incredible, with such fresh flavours. I'd never tried black sapote and was blown away. The aesthetic in there is beautiful and perfect for the gram too, if that's your thing."

"Weve been to this place a number of times and liked it. The food is nice and the staff are generally courteous . On our last visit though we had a poor experience with a young waitress we hadnt seen before. Everything was fine until we had finished our meal; my wife had at the start ordered some take away for our son and daughter who were not with us. When it was time to leave and the take away arrived my wife informed the girl that it wasnt complete and only one meal was provided and that she had ordered two . The waitress then proceeded to tell my wife that she had only ordered the one meal. I corrected her politely and informed her that I clearly heard my wife ordering 2 separate take away meals. At this point we could see that she was irritated and clearly not believing us. <br/ No matter, my wife didnt argue but shrugged it off and ordered the second meal and we decided to wait as we weren't in a hurry . After the girl had gone the senior waitress (who was no doubt informed by the junior , appeared and enquired what the matter was. My wife explained what had happened; the older waitress seemed a little haughty and not too interested , advised that it will be ready in about 5 minutes and walked off. No apology. <br/ About 30 minutes later the rest of the order arrived and we paid and left. I generally leave a decent tip but not this time . We left this place feeling annoyed. We didnt complain, raise our voices, belittle the young waitress or her older off sider, make a scene or any of that. Yet my wife was made to feel as if she had got it wrong . Neither of the two staff apologised or at least , in the interest of good customer service , suggest that it was an unfortunate misunderstanding. We are in two minds whether to go back . The food is nice and you cant blame the Chef or other staff for the actions of one or two . However, it showed me how poor staff can help wreck a good business. We will go back but any more hiccups like that and we wont be going back, good food or not.<br/ <br/"

"Went there because of the rating. Inside interior was nothing special, but I like the sitting booths close to the main entrance. The menu was interesting and very American. I was impressed with how much gluten free and lactose free options on the menu, even its thickshakes! Never i have seen anywhere else offering lactose free thickshakes. I had pancakes while my husband had waffles and fried chicken. Their fried chicken was so beautiful. Although i don’t like it mixed with maple syrup. I like to alternate sweet and savoury, like one spoon after another but not mixed in one spoon. I would definitely come back again for its fried chicken!! My pancake was ok. Thickshakes was soo nice. And their staff are so polite and nice. Definitely my go to place from now on!"
