"I learned so much! I enjoy cooking over a fire, and this experience was on the next level. Highly recommend! On a different note, you'll notice a few starving dogs on your way into town, maybe a quarter mile out. They are scared of people, so don't get close, but please bring food, water, and dishes to leave it in. Most towns have dogs roaming around, but these dogs have been harmed by humans is my guess. Please come prepared to help them"

"The restaurant in cenote yokdzonot offers typical Mexican snacks. If you want to eat vegan, you can prepare it vegan by leaving the animal ingredients away. this leads to cheap, fill and good, but not very inspiring foods. the restaurant alone does not justify visiting yokdzonot, my opinion. but – the zenote is very beautiful and not too touristy. when we arrived, there were some smaller groups there, so we decided to come to lunch and after that we actually had the cente for an hour for ourselves! So if they are in the chichen itza area, I recommend to them to visit this centimeter instead of the crowded centimeter. ik kil!"
