Brilliant hosts, great service from Kate on the bar, terrific value platters and the BEST collection of memorabilia. Lovely setting. Well worth a visit.

We (a group of four) called in on a Friday morning unannounced and they really do prefer bookings. They fitted us in for a devonshire tea and it was delicious....

This place has it all! Food is amazing. Staff are lovely plus there’s a Tesla charger if you’re in need of one during your travels. Highly recommend

Make a booking..soak up the atmosphere. If you like whiskey...get a driver. Or order a Devonshire tea and you won't be disappointed. Worth the visit

"Affordable and yummy!. The food was amazing, and lovingly cooked by the welcoming owners. We came in at lunch time and got a chance to speak to the chef, who was also the waiter during our meal. Great service and the food was heartily proportioned and delicious. Our family will definitely be going back next time we go to the snow!!"

"Good Counfry Bakery and Cafe ....... Baked goods were excellent . We had some Bread pudding with salted caramel and peanut . A delicious twist on a old favourite . We also bought a unsliced white loaf which was pretty good .... great friendly service as well.A very good stop fora tasty morning tea after a long drive ."

"We’ll presented bakery with excellent pastries and a small shop attached. Very good coffee last time I was thru. I tried a Portuguese tart which was a decent version, they’re hard to perfect though. The covid setup is thoughtful and they’re careful. Thanks for the service."

"We had our wedding at Flowerdale Estate earlier this year and cannot recommend them highly enough. Initially we were sold by how beautiful the venue looked, the photo locations on property were phenomenal, food and drink packages were reasonable and included better drinks (especially beer and wine selection) than we'd seen at most venues. The venue accommodation also meant that it would be easy for guests to have a great time and not need to worry about the logistics of travel at the end of the night. While planning our wedding and on the day of, every single staff member we crossed paths with was extremely helpful the wedding coordination team, kitchen and bar staff, front desk staff, owner, etc. Everything was made so easy and stress free, and we felt incredibly taken care of. Our guests also raved about the venue, the staff, the food and had an amazing time. If you're looking for a beautiful place, with a reliable team who will support you and who you'll enjoy working with, with great food and reasonable packages, you could not pick better than Flowerdale."
