"I go here whenever I am visiting Yellowknife for work (about every other month). I love Ethiopian food and have eaten it at restaurants around the world, and this place makes excellent Ethiopian dishes that stack up against anything I've eaten elsewhere. Try the dishes that allow you to sample a variety of traditional Ethiopian meat and vegetable dishes and enjoy the experience of eating using the beautiful injera bread they make (for scooping up the food, instead of using utensils, in the traditional Ethiopian way)."

"Authentic German food, made by a German lady named Elke. You want a great treat try the potatoe salad it is out of this world. It is a must if you are in Yellowknife. If you want a mom and pop feel here it is. Right now it is a limited menu but call up to see what she is serving. Major thumbs up?????Guten appetite"

"Used to enjoy coming here everyday but that has changed in recent weeks. I now rarely go as the quality has gone down while their prices remain high. Smoothies are very poor, made with a syrup that seems to be out of date or very...poor quality. Inconsistency in food and drinks. Have a few positives but unfortunately they’re outweighed by the negatives."

"Love this place! always one has to stop when I am in yellowknife! eating is just divine! the whole atmosphere and the personal is amazing. it is always packed, so call ahead if they can reserve a table. they must taste their homemade sauces! a certain one has to stop when they are in town!"
