What General King doesn't like about Wildcat Café:
First time we sat outside and just had a couple beer. Draft was cool not cold so sent it back. Next day had to sit inside as the waitress said it was to cool out. It was 21 degrees and sunny. They said it would...affect the food. So we sat inside and ordered two beer and they said we would also have to order food as it was regulations. So ordered a plate of fries just so we could have a beer. This is my last visit...... View all feedback. What Evert Leuschke likes about Wildcat Café:
We got the bison burger and bison pie and they were very delicious. It was our favourite YK meal to date! The charming log-cabin setting is uniquely Canadian. It's a pity that this place is only open in the summer. View all feedback.

Me and a buddy ate there today had the bison burger and he had the cod, it was way over priced and not good at all. _Would not recommend
I can die now, knowing that I've enjoyed dessert in a Canadian national landmark.

read moreA review of a local restaurant in Yellowknife, located in Old Town, highlights the charming log-cabin setting that offers a uniquely Canadian dining experience. The bison burger and pie are highly recommended, with the food being described as delicious and the service as really nice. Despite some issues with the draft beer temperature and the need to order food with drinks due to regulations, the cafe is praised for its old-time feel and talented chef. The menu is described as short but with excellent options, such as fish tacos and Arctic char. The historic location overlooking the water and float planes, now under new management, offers a great variety of dishes like steak, burgers, and Arctic char. The fish and chips are also recommended. While there were some issues with reservations and outdated hours, the overall experience is positive, with good service and classic dishes like fish and chips being highlighted.
