We booked a few weeks ago to celebrate our Dad's 85th birthday. We explained that our Dad has Prostate cancer and was on Dialysis. We needed a private alcove. When we arrived there was a heater, and everything was perfect. We had prebooked for 11 people. The staff were amazing, whitty, and did everything to accommodate us. "There were just a handful of diners for our lunch time meal at the Clockspire which has a large open dining room. The cavernous space was cold and lacked atmosphere, exacerbated by so few fellow travellers. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen offers fine dining and yet most of our dishes were over seasoned with salt very prominent. Portions were tiny and relatively expensive, as were wines. Overall the restaurant fails to offer value for money, and we are unlikely to return in the near future.
