we stopped at the halfway house hotel with 100 other solihull moors tags on the way to our fa cup game with yeovil town. our pints, pre-ordered, were ready and after our arrival dressed and we enjoyed a nice lunch of sausage and chips that were laid on by the personal. a beautiful place with some great beers, encoders and a beautiful cup tee! highly recommended! "There were just a handful of diners for our lunch time meal at the Clockspire which has a large open dining room. The cavernous space was cold and lacked atmosphere, exacerbated by so few fellow travellers. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen offers fine dining and yet most of our dishes were over seasoned with salt very prominent. Portions were tiny and relatively expensive, as were wines. Overall the restaurant fails to offer value for money, and we are unlikely to return in the near future.
