"We were a bit disappointed. Prawn tagliatelle didn't really taste of prawns and lasagne was salty, also didn't come with anything. They couldn't make a decaf capuccino. "There were just a handful of diners for our lunch time meal at the Clockspire which has a large open dining room. The cavernous space was cold and lacked atmosphere, exacerbated by so few fellow travellers. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen offers fine dining and yet most of our dishes were over seasoned with salt very prominent. Portions were tiny and relatively expensive, as were wines. Overall the restaurant fails to offer value for money, and we are unlikely to return in the near future.
