"Fully vegan menu. I got the Karaage Set, plus a side of Falafel. For food lovers who want to eat the whole lot, I know it’s tempting but don’t begin with the karaage or soup! Always start with the rice first, finish ALL of that yummy seasoned rice! Then you should start on the karaage, wrapping each morsel in lettuce first to cut the oil taste. You can sip on the soup between bites if that helps. After you’ve finished the karaage, enjoy your soup before it gets cold, and then finish with the traditional pickles last. In other words: 1) Carbs 2) Protein 3) Soup 4) Vegetables As for the Falafel, the sauce lacks a tangy flavour. I suggest adding a squeeze of lemon of possible. Next time I’ll try a different set!"

"If you're after amazingly fresh sashimi in a lively, fun, non pretentious setting, then this is the place for you! Kaikaya by the Sea is great fun for groups and you'll often find businessmen enjoying the spoils, with lots of sake and rowdy behaviour at the end of a busy workweek. We are repeat offenders, visiting each time we're in Tokyo and it's nice to have the owner Teruyuki come around to the table to say hi... And it's always fun, pouring over the colourful walls to see what celebrities have been in. Highly recommend :"
