"This restaurant has closed last month, I found out only by opening for my booking. The restaurant has not informed me before and I still received memories from Open Table, they even have sandwich boards that advertise the restaurant at the end of the street! A waste of time and taxi."

"My partner and I choose couples to celebrate our 5th birthday yesterday. We had contacted the bar in advance to arrange a table and recommend them to try the premium pairings experience as a special way to celebrate the day. We had an absolutely fantastic time! Our server was Ellie, who was very friendly and welcoming and was very well informed about the wine she gave us. She shared information about the regions where the wines were produced, the various methods of winemaking and how/was each wine should be served with each course. The food was as extraordinary as the wine and more generous than we expected. We had the table for 2.5 hours and the experience lasted for most of this time. We cannot praise this place enough for a visit if you are a wine and food lover, and the service is not the second."

"Recently visited skosh and it was definitely worth the visit. The restaurant is central to the city centre. There is parking near to the restaurant if you have to drive. The atmosphere is relaxing and the restaurant is clean and modern. The food was absolutely delicious. I can not fault any of the food we had. The photos don't do it justice. The staff were very busy but they were still friendly and attentive to customers. I would definitely recommend a visit. The prices are what you would expect of this standard of restaurant. It was my first visit but I will definitely be back again and I'd highly recommend it. Its one of my partners favourite places to eat and hes a chef so a proper foodie. I was torn between 4 or 5 stars if I go again and its as good will definitely be a 5."

"We had this on our list to visit during our weekend in York and it didn't disappoint! We made the mistake of ordering a small mac and cheese and a large katsu fries to share between two of us... The chap in the van didn't look surprised when we asked for a take away bag when we were defeated Delicious food, HUGE portions, get there early"
