My friends and I went to Cote in York for brunch. We had made a reservation, but upon arrival the restaurant was empty (it was full by the time we left!). We were greeted and taken care of by a friendly male server who allowed us to chat without rushing us to order. We ordered the vegetarian breakfast, which was delicious and a generous portion. read moreCote in York offers a delightful brunch experience, with delicious food and attentive service. While the vegetarian breakfast was tasty overall, with the exception of the vegan sausage, the mimosas were a hit. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and is a nice change from other local options. On the other hand, a disappointing breakfast experience featuring cold bacon and inedible eggs suggests a need for improvement. Despite this, the restaurant has a loyal following, with patrons enjoying a variety of dishes and the friendly staff. Overall, Cote in York is recommended for a satisfying dining experience, particularly for those seeking gluten-free options or a pleasant meal in a welcoming environment.
