Stayed one night in May and could not fault it. Approx 15 min walk and you're in the centre on york making it an ideal base. Rooms spotless and facilities excellent. Staff very attentive. We can't wait to return. Parking available at £10 per night. read more.

Starter was ok but the main was poor! The chateaubriand was cooked as per request, the side of cauliflower cheese was watery and very little flavour of cheese. The fries could have been a 'value ' brand ie clearly frozen and very thin cut read more.
