I had not seen my mother 5 months, so I wanted to organize something special to celebrate that we could see us and her birthday. I was certainly not disappointed by the Poughman’s afternoon tea of love to eat. the food was excellent and there was so much of it! it was an excellent value for money. my mother and I had been sitting over two, there was so much. the selection of cheese, sink and chutney was really great.... First noticed my daughter’s coffee cup looked as though someone had drunk coffee out of it, stained brown. Checked my own cup. Red spots just around rim plus brown marks. Though it was in the glaze. Rubbed it. Came off. Had ordered a meal so tried to ignore it but it did put me off.
