Booked a table when we were staying in York for a few days. Lovely staff, cosy pub and nice food! I had the black and blue burger, hubby had pie, the kids had stew and chicken and it was lovely and tasty. Would definitely go back View all feedback.

My goodness has this place gone downhill. I have always raved about the place, but was so shocked to see how quiet it was, and now I know why. I ordered a brie and bacon burger. Like another reviewer has said, it was no better than a burger van burger, but with a much higher price. Can't fault the staff though. I just hope the place does improve. View all feedback.
Lovely food and plenty of it. Nice, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Very reasonable price too. All-round good value.
