Ambience good. Menu worth a look before you go as limited. Service was good, however over served the wine. Various waiters put too much in glasses, especially when not chilled enough when arrived. Food, starters really nice, but main course poor. However did take full meal off bill which appreciated, was not eaten. Restaurant was cold and left early as uncomfortable. View all feedback.

Very busy visit, but good service coffee and bake deal purchased very nice and good value

The Ivy in York has always been able to accommodate my allergies and coeliac disease well. I find their breakfast menu offers the better options, afternoon tea is great, the standard menu has fewer options. I’ve eaten here many times and have never had an issue with servers’ understanding of the requirements nor with the food. It’s one of my go to places when I want to eat out near home.

Had afternoon tea here and they provided a completely gluten-free tea for my wheat-allergic husband. It looked nice and he confirmed that it tasted nice too.
