I've been to this Chinese restaurant a couple of times, the last time prior to this review was in 1994! So it's been here a fair few years now. It wouldn't be here for that long if it wasn't any good. It was a Friday night my most recent visit, it was busy. This review is simply about the food. The service was friendly and efficient. Having been many times to The Mulan as a post Cinema treat we were looking forward to the usual high standard. Unfortunately, the food e.g, salt and pepper ribs are largely bone and fat and the main course chicken dishes are now tough and tasteless. Have they forgotten how to 'velvet ' meat?
