Stayed for 4 nights. Room was ensuite, clean and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and lots of it, set us up for the day and we didn't eat again until the evening. It is a traditional pub and seems popular...with the locals which is a good sign. Very convenient for access to York, no need to use the car. A nice stroll along the river, or if not up to it you can get a bus which run... View all feedback.

for many years used as a local pub. had been up and down, now in another. miserable place, absolutely not welcome. very chavvy. you have to think of the demographic aspekte of area and customer base stay away. View all feedback.
