Toto's is a standout in the crowded restaurant scene in York, which is largely dominated by chain restaurants. While Toto's may not offer a fine dining experience, it is incredibly cozy and family-friendly, with a warm and attentive staff. Everything we ordered, from the appetizers to the main dishes and desserts, was prepared from scratch in the restaurant and absolutely delicious. The standout items were Toto's pizza and calzone, which were particularly impressive. Personally, I loved the calzone, and the dough made in-house for their pizzas and calzones was warm, fluffy, and fresh. My calzone was filled with ham, cheese, fresh mushrooms, garlic, and a decadent Bolognese sauce. The portion size was generous, and it didn't cost more than 9 pounds. For a great value, a family-friendly atmosphere, and delicious Italian cuisine, Toto's is a must-visit.
A gem outside of the wall. Delicious food and great staff.
A very friendly and cozy Italian restaurant with great service and absolutely amazing food. All the food came quickly and tasted incredible.
This Italian restaurant near the Barbican is very well-run. It is exactly as you would expect, with a discreet view into the kitchen where the chefs work efficiently to deliver delicious meals promptly. The staff are excellent, ensuring customers are happy and satisfied. It is clear that the restaurant is owned by an Italian family and their close friends.
Delicious food. I had to start the whitebait, followed by the calzone with bolognese and finished with Totos ice cream with Meringue raspberry coulis, whipped cream and ice. everything was delicious and the Urtitivo wine was also delicious. I recommend this restaurant!
