"Had a fabulous dinner last night. Starters were buffalo wings buttermilk fried shrimp , both decent sized portions and delicious. For mains I had the short ribs and my wife the fish tacos, the short ribs were off the scale , the meat literally fell of the ribs ... yum yum. The tacos whilst tasting great only contained one small piece of chicken which was quite disappointing, I did mention this to our waitress who didn't look too surprised guess other diners have previously mentioned this ... . For desert we shared a peanut brownie with icecream. All the above was washed down with draft beer... whilst on beer it would have made the experience a tad better to have had American beer on draft .. it's only a small point but I think valid. So overall a great dinner , lovely staff and apart from one point super food so big thanks to the kitchen .. just sort the tacos out No hesitation in recommending Fancy Hanks."

"Visited this cafe just by chance looking for somewhere for a warm drink to get out of the rain with our dog 'The Bear '. Was welcomed in and guided to a table downstairs. So t be fooled with the view from outside. There 's loads of space indoors. Brilliant service and made such a fuss of our choccy Lab. Ordered 2 teas and a banana split. Wow what a desert, big enough for the two of us and a jar of sausage bits for The Bear... would defo recommend.end and will return next tome we are in the area... Well.done team.."

"This caffe was absolutely smashed! 2 young girls who serve were very pleasant and very friendly to me and my father, eating was practically perfect! it is a shame that I am 300 miles away so that my return would be unlikely, but I would seriously recommend this caffe to everyone and absolutely all! "I ordered an 18th birthday cake, the giant cupcake with specific instructions on the decoration. I collected the cake and was overwhelmed with complete disappointment at staring at the ugliest cake I've ever seen. It was expensive and the idea was that it would be special, a centrepiece. Clearly, the person making the cake has no artistic ability, it was ugly, my instructions were not followed, it was hard to understand the thinking behind producing a giant cupcake in shades of beige that I can only describe as resembling a large turd. I definitely would not recommend spending money on the giant cupcakes for special occasions, a cheap shop brought cake is a much safer and less expensive option. I did my best to remove the ugly brown biscuits plonked on top of the cake which I had requested were not added but it still looked awful, a few brown chocolates placed on a beige buttercream, with cream writing on the cake base that was so faint, it wasn't worth making the effort of putting it there. Unbelievably bad for the price."

"Everything was even better than last time we felt desserts were brought to a while different level!, this restaurant is a little gem and with the set menu it's become a really good value for money alternative. Of course it's not cheap but it's a very doable treat!"

"We love soup and salad for lunch and this small place was incredible! Wonderful selections and the crusty bread/butter accompaniment was delicious! We had tomato basil soup and chicken chili and shared a vegan salad bowl of goodness! Great place to stop for lunch with friendly staff!"

"This is my favourite Café. I always pop in for a breakfast/brunch when I'm in this area. I also love the Armenian dessert. Place is run by super kind and polite, and very professional people. Always smiled and happy to help. You can see how your food is made, as kitchen door are always open. It's always busy here but I've never waited for the food too long. Very tasty coffee. They also provide few toys for small children, so families are nicely welcome here. Prices are fair. I highly recommend that place for everyone, who values a good quality of food and expect a positive attitude from the staff. I've been here many times and for sure, I'll be coming back here soon."
