fantastic little pub, I had the mixed grill my wife had the sampi, both cooked to perfection and the portions were on place, drinks wise I can highly recommend the shambles bitter excellent taste and a really good session beer. the staff is really great, friendly and helpful....who will definitely use again. only on the side I had. it's a dog friendly pub....not in the rule a problem for me, a dog owner himself, but... This restaurant I have visited a number of times with friends as we live in York, it is situated in a good place for people to drink& eat, central to all amenities,on our last visit we went for breakfast, we had to wait for 10 minute's for the waitress to bring the menu's my friend asked her 3 time’s,she seemed to be more interested in other people entering the restaurant after us, the girl in question slim brown cur...
