Local game meat was fantastic. Loved the soup! Staff was friendly and entertaining. My only suggestion would be a re-do on the chocolate dessert option. Death by chocolate was dead. This is a truly special experience from the ride up on the sleigh , the cabin, the food and finishing with the amazing view of the stars on the way down. Experience was nice. Food was average. My husband ordered beef tenderloin and meatball app, cobbler desert. No problem with any of those. I ordered Trout fritters for app and they were terrible, so salty I could not eat them. This made the rest of my meal average. Artic Char was ok, but poached apple desert was not great.
