"I thank the Lord to have such a great sister (a dispatcher) who, along with her driver husband, own their own trucking business. After I struck out with finding a place to park, pulling a camper trailer, in Meridian; she scouted out and found this place for me. It's what she does all day long for her drivers (both sons too), so she's very experienced with checking traffic conditions and finding good truck stops. She told me on the phone as she was guiding me here that everyone was saying the food was really good. I thank those folks who took the time to share their thoughts about the One Stop. They weren't wrong; the food here is great! I ordered the Catfish Dinner with Tots and Potato Salad. They included a few Hush Puppies too. The fish was excellent. The potato salad was outstanding. The tots were cooked right. I loved my meal and have bookmarked this place for the next time I'm passing through. I don't want to miss another chance to eat here."

"This place surprised us. Through the city we drove on maps for highly rated restaurants and Dandy Don's was one of the top rated locals. Tired of Franchise Fast Food, we took a chance and I'm glad we were. The burgers and frits are good, the service was friendly and our drinks were refilled for free. The bathroom was tight, but cleaner than a gas station. Friendly would be a good summary of our visit. My non-quite-2 year old son flirted with the cashier and she was kind and engaged with him. Other patrons came and held conversations with each other, the staff and we, who combined with the sports teams decor Dandy Don made an unforgettable stop for good food and southern hospitality."

"Ended up in this little town at this fabulous restaurant. We had the platter, the chicken salad and a BLT. All were delicious. Loved the thin fries!! And the owners were friendly and welcoming. Worth the drive!"
