I went back home, York can't drink here. This is a nice pub next to a central market. On a Sunday afternoon it was pretty slow as expected. The interior is cozy. You have a bar and a dining area. Plus seat. The decor is classic pub type. The food has a good choice of hot dogs and burgers. I ordered a poutine and a Chicago style hot dog. The poutine is a new court for me. I'm in York occasionally for business and try to avoid all of the chain restaurants as much as possible by eating at local places downtown. I'd never noticed Mudhook before and was excited to give it a try for dinner on Wednesday evening. Overall, I was kind of disappointed.
