Tutoni's is a wonderful Italian restaurant located in York, PA. There is a public parking lot around the corner for easy access. The service was prompt and polite. Our server was able to explain the menu and provide a little history about the restaurant. She was also very helpful in recommending wine and drink. A small seasonal menu was provided with a wide variety of flavors available. Gluten free pasta is an option... View all feedback.
What K C Tredow doesn't like about Tutoni's:
This place is way overrated!!! The food is mediocre at best , but super expensive for what you get, The service was ok that doesn't make up for the food or the price of the food, Which tasted old and stale and reheated. I looked at all the other reviews and this was the best place in York by far one to 10 is a three! Yeah, if you wanna pay good money to get a good meal avoid this place. It's the worst. Everything was good, the wine was my favorite (Tommasi Cabernet), the charcuterie was pricey, and just okay, not many options on it, I didn’t love the meats, and the cheese was good but all combined wasn't my favorite. The basil panna cotta was good, loved the texture, but, I don’t know that it was $13 good. Service was top notch, servers were very friendly and attentive, especially being that they were so busy, and the atmosphere was lovely. I’d visit again, but to try something else.
The gnocchi with braised short ribs is the best thing I have ever had! Every bite makes you feel like you just got a Nona hug
We went for dinner on a Saturday night, around 7:30. The space is charming, with a cozy, upscale ambience. When our server, Dante came to the table, he asked if we had been there before and after finding we had not, gave us a brief spiel regarding the history of the restaurant and the food sources. I just love a good, professional server and Dante was amazing. Prompt and knowledgeable, courteous and a bit witty. He was there whenever we needed him (he ever helped clean a bit of ricotta from my seatmates shoe! , but never hovered! Thank you Dante for restoring my faith that there are still classic servers out there! I would also like to commend the kitchen. We had a sampling of salads and appetizers and everything was exceptional. Extremely fresh ingredients prepared in an innovative fashion. Try the charred octopus! We only had one glass of wine and allowed the bartender to choose a dry red for us. Her choice was superb! I will be back Parking: Found a spot right out front
I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while now! I went to visit family in Harrisburg for Father’s Day, and we decided to try Tutoni’s in York! It was beyond perfect, from beginning to end! We sat upstairs, which was such a beautiful space, and our waitress/bartender (I think her name was Ashley) was absolutely amazing! She suggested the best drinks, everything she recommended was delicious! My younger sister has autism, (so she’s super particular with taste and texture) and Ashley made a special sangria for her that she ended up loving, so her kindness and patience was truly appreciated! The food was beyond delicious, I could drink the sauce of the braised beef gnocchi like juice it’s that dang good! And of course, the espresso martinis and dessert, are absolutely superb! I highly recommend Tutoni’s for their stellar service, and phenomenal food!
Had the chance to enjoy this fabulous restaurant and it was outstanding. The food was spectacular and the service was excellent. I can’t say enough about a place that has good customer service these days. It’s hard to find, but this establishment nailed it!
