Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill - York

I usually get takeout but I have eaten inside close to 10 times. The take-out counter is very very fast, i've ordered ribs and they were ready in 5 minutes.Chicken is always tasty as is the sauce. Salads are good too, try the poutine with chalet sauce it's amazing. Chicken club wrap is a good lunch deal at 10$ for take-out with a pop.

Yes, I am talking about Swiss Chalet! From the moment we stepped into Swiss Chalet, we were greeted by the friendly staff including the Manager. Our hostess showed us to our table and mentioned that Elza would be with us shortly. Elza immediately arrived and we were served what we ordered. Elza was most attentive throughout the entire meal. I really enjoyed the food. I ordered dessert- ice cream with hot apple pie it was most yummy! Great presentation with the desserts! I will definitely come back to this location (Woodbine Ave and Denison St. Markham).

We went there for lunch and after struggling a bit for parking (during busy lunch time) we made it inside and were seating after a quick wait. Everyone was nice but the service was a bit lacking. After dropping off our food orders we were not checked on again and struggled to ask for the check so we could leave. It was a bit frustrating as we were on a lunch time frame. The food was average; chicken wrap, chicken on Kaiser, and Parmesan chicken sandwich. We all got them with mashed potatoes. We are here on business so are not regular patrons of Swiss Chalet but I don't think I'll be putting this establishment on a must visit list.

Family meal. Always enjoyable. Tender chicken and ribs. Goid service. Bonus Christmas chocolates Quiet atmosphere. Children menu always a hit.

The chicken Family a Pack is a good deal if you want a delicious chicken takeout option. There are other suitable options too.
