I am giving this restaurant a 4.5 because every time we have eaten there the pizza was exceptional. HOWEVER!!! The last time we were there, we walked out. Insulation was hanging out of the ceiling over tables and dirty. It appeared there was mold on the ceiling tiles and insulation. We were grossed out. "Coming in from New Braunfels searched restaurants and this popped up. Called to check on closing time lady was so nice, even took our name for reservations. Greeted by several when arrived and offered a good table. Onion rings were appetizer soooo good. A gentleman came to chat with our son, ended up being in band whom later we found out was owner. Band started up they played feel good real country music, not too loud, on key and music you can dance to. Food arrived by a friendly lady who noticed our salads were overlooked offered to box them up. Thank goodness she did because when our food arrived; we were surprised about the plates. Catfish nuggets: ON POINT!!! Baked potatoes: ON POINT!! Chicken fried steak ON POINT!! The gravy was also a nice delight. Checking out was again greeted, asked about our meal service, thanked for coming in as well as safe travel wishes. Very pleased we stopped and hope to make it back.
