"We thought we would book the buffet meal for our last night here, we knew it would be expensive from the reviews we had read, but we didn't expect to pay $225 for a meal that was honest while beautiful wasn't exactly...outstanding! The restaurant is beautiful, many tables and you need to book. A bottle of Pale Ale and a small one was $15 a bottle of water was $10, so it's a case of buyers caution here because if you don't want to go to eat your own body weight in food, except naturally you can afford to do this every night, in which case fire in! The staff was very attentive, very polite and friendly. We've tipped, but there's no information about what happens to the tips that are pooled and distributed to the waiting staff or what? It would be nice to know what happens to the tips so you know that waiting staff get what they should."

"If you're camping at Ayers Rock Resort, recommended the buffet that the resort had deal for campers. Go and have a lovely relaxing dinner. Very helpful lovely staff. Plenty of hot, cold food and seafood to choose. Delicious desserts"

"We visited for dinner while staying at Sails in the Desert. They don't take reservations and when we visited there was approximately a 20 minute wait for a table. However, you can get a drink from the bar while you are waiting for your table. I visited in a group with 4 adults and 3 kids and they had a choice of kids meals and variety of mains for adults. The food was prompt and the service friendly. There was a power outage in the resort while we were dining and the staff were helpful and even provided extra nibbles while we waited."
