"The setting is absolutely lovely. I went last night with a group of friends. We were going to enjoy a meal before the big game. Our group was unaware of the Covid restrictions on the placement of customers. When I inquired on behalf of my group about adding an additional person, it was explained that we could not due to fines. I said okay and relayed to the group that our friend could not join us. I was not told that the host was trying to fix the situation so that he could join us. We had texted the friend and told him not to come. Later, the host came to me and said he had rearranged some things. I told him that was okay, we had uninvited the friend. He then yells at me in front of my friends. I KNOW he was frustrated, but the situation was 1. embarrassing 2. uncalled for. The others texted our friend and he came and had a beer with us. My evening was done. I live in the neighborhood. I will not be returning to this cafe anytime soon. There are plenty of others with charming settings, great coffee, and delicious food. The group agreed that the frustrated host was not being personal, but he still should not have acted that way. It ruined my experience."

"Great spot for Italian grub in Cali. We took a large group and the service was attentive and the food delicious. I will say the dishes are their own takes. I got carbonara and it was definitely not carbonara, but it was tasty nonetheless."

"This place is great! There are a limited number of dishes but all of the ones that we tried were really delicious and surprisingly filling. The sangria is made in-house and is really flavourful - the best sangria we have ever had! Lovely atmosphere too, hope to be back soon."
