Been here before in the past 10 years ago around New Years. Had a blast. Went their again, recently. Had the local joy juice, it was alright but but a little pricey at 1100 yen. Ordered a glass of wine for a friend l. Bartender said it was 700 yen. I gave her 1000 yen. She never gave me back the change. I mean if you really want the tip that badly keep the 300. Up to 5 stars! Original review: A fun place to take a drink or coffee right at the foot of the gondola. The hot chocolate I had was exactly what I wanted after skiing all day. When we left, it was very crowded, which it was rather clogged, so that ventilation could be improved. But all in all the drinks were good and the staff was very nice and spoke English.
Great place for a beer and some wings based on the gondola. I had to wait for the wings longer than I expected, but everyone working there was very nice. Expect most Australians working here; like the whole village seems to be dominated by Australians who work the restaurants and bars especially. In a sense, this really makes you feel that you are not at all in Japan, which could be a negative if you want the full Japanese experience.
I haven't been in ski resorts for a decade and I was so surprised and happy that there is a western place like this! You will be craving for this kind of tasty food after skiing with a pint of beer! Chicken wing was good but the taste was a bit strong. I don't like the high chair as I'm not tall enough. There is only one table seat with the normal chair.
Good breakfast bagle and coffee. Friendly staff nice way to start a morning skiing
Great place to grab a good beer and a snack. Reasonable prices and friendly service. 7-8 beers on tap.
