"Although it was hot inside (forced by a rainstorm), it was a beautiful room. The serving staff was very friendly and hard-working. The food was traditional French style, strongly influenced by the lake’s proximity, with huge portions. We both had perch with pommes frittes but...with different sauces, both of which were excellent. The rabbit paté was very good, and the salmon tartare also was. The dessert was a typical alpine creation with meringue, but it was good. The only quibble was that the fries were pretty limp."
