"We visited The Rock during our trip to Zanzibar. I was impressed by the beauty of this unique restaurant situated in the middle of the ocean. During the low tide you can walk to the restaurant but during the high tide you need to transfer by boat which makes it a unique experience. The staff is super friendly which makes the experience even more pleasant...a special thanks to the manager Reddy. We had a inspiring conversation which really touched us. I recommend the seafood enough for 2pax and the cocktail The Rock . For dessert give it a try to the tiramisu,made with handmade mascarpone and biscuit. We traveled during the epidemic and I can assure you that we felt safe all the time. The restaurant follows all the safety guidelines. Also, this is the best time to travel as we had the restaurant for ourselves due to the lack of tourists. Usually The Rock is extremely busy at the point that it's necessary to book in advance so it was special to have a private experience."

"The taste was so questionable that I feel fortunate that I didn't get ill. I had to turn in half way through due to terrible taste. The waiter were completely unable to speak English, and the would-be manager who could acted like he was not there. Overall, a bad experience. I recommend Yellow Card Restaurant and Mwisha Cafe nearby for a safe and better experience."
