for the first time in zaragoza they are easily overwhelmed by the dynamics of this magnificent and vibrant city. on the way to the main attractions, kathedrale en la seu, we went through the fantastic place, full of people, even if it was quite cold. after visiting some of the sights we were looking for a tapas bar: and there directly over the basilica we found this modern but also cozy place. the wine ws good and ve... What User doesn't like about El Real:
we sat a bedside table before they took our order. they brought the food without wipe the table that was clear dirty. I had to ask her. beyond that was the fork they gave to my man, there was something black, dried eating on the back of it. they were also rigid with the breakfast menu. is it so hard to order only 2 dishes separately? great location and eating was ok. but the lack of love for detail is inconspicuous. I had dinner here last night and enjoyed it so much I came back for breakfast! Good service apart from the gradual shrinkage each time my vermut arrived) and stupendo tapas! You can’t beat the location particularly if your a religious) : next to the tourist office, and with a great view of the cathedral.
I did like the place, it used to be a jail and the restaurant is underground. Quite curious and funny, the food was amazing and the atmosphere is chilled. Nice place to bring the couple or bunch of people to celebrate special occasion. If you come you MUST order the fue with sweet wine sauce . I freaked out, very TOP!!!
Great place for drinks near Plaza del Pilar. It was such a great surprise to see it was opened on New Year's Eve. Regardless if you are a local or just visiting Zaragoza, try the beer experience.
Perfect spot for people watching, having a cold beer or coffee while you gaze at the El Pilar basilica. The staff are very friendly. Super bueno.
If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. The workers were so rude and made a huge deal about us not ordering a big meal item that was more expensive. When we asked if they could refrain from putting meat on a sandwich because someone from our group was vegetarian they rudely stated that that was not how the sandwich was made. They took a long time to give us our food and when we tried to leave she pulled out a bag with our food that had been there for a while. The sandwich was not even good, the mayo was unevenly distributed which made the sandwich dry and the chicken had no flavor. Would not recommend, if your in this area there a pizza place nearby that is better tasting and with better service.
