Located close to the highway, in an uninteresting residential part of Vilvoorde. Design and decoration is classic. Welcome and service is only in French, which is disappointing in a Flemish town. What pojke-fredde doesn't like about L' Ascoli:
The place was packed on a regular weeknight. Although we had called just 30min earlier we got a nice round table for 4. A starter from the suggestions consisting of finely chopped tomatoes did not impress. The grilled cuttlefish with sweet garlic and breadcrumbs suffered from the same lack of tastiness. read morePerfect spot for a business lunch. Quick and good service, good menu and really nice food and absolutely loved the wine. Will go back for sure.

The restaurant also provides suitable seating for its smallest guests in the form of children's chairs, and there's a counter where you can sit down and have. If the weather are right, you can also eat outside, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables.
