Very delicious cakes (best “Schwarzwälderkirachtorte” in the Black Forest) and yummy ice-cream! I would highly recommend “Café Alt Zell”!

Just had a coffee but the cakes looked wonderful. Good service. Well worth a stop. Very pleasant little town

Called in for lunch while in Zell. Was one of the few places serving food. It's a nice place with a pleasant outdoor seating area. The girl serving was friendly...

"The hotel restaurant is clearly popular with other guests than hotel guests, so in the season they should definitely book a table and pay for a good eating with a few glasses wein about 45 euros per person. the three-course fare of 36 euro is cheap, as there is a selection of everything from the menu, with a few priced up for the more expensive dishes. steaks are thick, large and extremely delicate and tasty. my wife loved the calf liver, while the black forest parfait made me very happy with morellokirschen in cherry. the service was good, a few nice little attentions, but why they didn't give us a drink first when we sat at the table before we ordered the food was a riddle to me. at the third time when we had dinner there, they actually did that!] because it was warm, the employees were very interested in offering seating in the beautiful garden. So if they don't accept the offer and have paid the price! if they stay longer than a few days, the menu can repeat a little, nice small details such as "amuse bouche" and main dish covers are raised at the same time, so it's clear that the owner wants to lift the standard and it is against the standard? standard of a top restaurant I evaluate the house."

"In the past, I have already eaten in this very good restaurant and this time I was once again very satisfied. I ate a very good red beet carpaccio with caramelized goat cheese as starter, followed by a very good veal steak with Asparagus and...risotto The cooking of the veal (requested as medium) was perfect. The service was good and very friendly (only issue : in German only), the choice of local wines is interesting. We paid around € for drinks, starters, main dishes and half a litter of local red wine. I strongly recommend this place."
