We wanted something classic and der Seewirt more than delivered. Unfortunately one of their cooks was absent and they were apologetic about any potential delay but we didn’t notice any problem at all. The service was excellent and the Geschmortes Rinderbackerl was superb. The servings...were big, just what we needed after a day walking in the hills. The ingredients are fresh and local, the Zwickl beer too. View all feedback.

Visited based on the reviews here and we were both very disappointed. I found the food to be very average, the type you would easily make at home if you didn't feel like cooking. Staff were very nice but could clearly not cope with the demand and the result was that the service was slow. We were charged a huge amount for the wine. As usual Trip advisor did the trick. This place was highly recommend and indeed this place was amazing. Everything we had was great, fresh ingredients, fantastic presentation and most importantly, amazing taste. Indeed highly recommend if you are around that beautiful area and you are...not, then it is worth the special drive.
This is an excellent choice for good food, well prepared and presented, with warm service, and friendly help with the choices. Great value!
SeeWirt is a bit of a walk from the centre of Zell am See, but it is definitely worth the walk. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming, but very comfortable. The food was excellent - everything we had tasted brilliant and was obviously freshly prepared. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I can only recommend.
Great value lunch, Meal came very quickly and the service from the busy waitress was great. I understand it was in the off season, and the single waitress did a very efficient job in making sure everyone was looked after. Good Job!
