Just had the half chicken which was very moist and tasty. Very good value for money and freshly off the spit roast.

The cheapest in Zermatt, McD's no match. Honest lady, close on Monday because Sunday no delivery of chicken.

"If there is one place we ALWAYS visit when we are in Zermatt it is Whymper Stube. We always have the Fondue Bourguignonne and we have never been disappointed. The experience is always special and my wife and I consider it a tradition. The staff is very friendly and efficient and we will certainly be back."

"Some of the best Italian food I have had, we were there twice for dinner during our stay in Zermatt. Everything we had was extremely delicious, we had mushroom risotto, Bianca pizza, tres pasta des la casa, tiramisu and it all tasted fresh and yummy, the red chili and jalepeno spice oil was a good add on to the flavor if you want to add an extra kick. "Overall the best on-mountain dining experience during our week in Zermatt. And that was shared by my husband and kids (ages 8 and 11). Spectacular view--we liked that we ALL had the view due to the position of the seats and table. Food was fabulous! Service was friendly and accommodating. If you have only one lunch on the mountain, make this it!"
