This is the second time I have been to the Miacucina in this location and both times service has been slow. But I will say that it is always very busy and I can understand why it would be slow. The food is always good and very cool with it being a vegetarian place. You have many options in the menu. I like it. View all feedback.
What Julio N doesn't like about Miacucina (my Kitchen) Nanxi:
I give it two stars because it's vegetarian. I had their avocado humus Sandwich, which was impressive on the menu and quite big. The problem is that half of it is undercooked cold bell peppers and cucumbers. Just look at the picture for reference, there's barely any humus and avocado. The former is a garlicky mess that overwhelms the watery flavor of the non-hass avocado variety. I don't understand what's wrong with... View all feedback.
This restaurant is conveniently located in the Shin Kong mall at Zhongshan station on the red and green lines. We were fortunate to get a seat for 2 without a reservation. We were seated by the entrance of the store yet it still took us quite a long time to get any service. One person got up and left not sure of her reasons but no one took her order. Once we placed our order, the food came quickly. I enjoyed my salad and my friend enjoyed her sandwich. We opted not to get drinks because we felt they weren't worth the price. It's time that they offer plant based milk since it's a vegetarian restaurant.
I am not a big fan of vegetarian food because it leaves me feeling unsatisfied. A local friend recommended Miacucina, which changed my mind. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious and came in good portions. I would like to visit again.
Carrot ginger soup was surprisingly good. BBQ salad was delicious too! But the wait was an hour even at 3pm. A popular vegetarian spot in town.
We went there without a reservation for dinner and wear still seated. The view from balcony onto the mall is great. The menu is really big with a lot of options and reasonable pricing. The portion sizes are really big!
Good pasta restaurant with simple dishes. I particularly like their vegetarian baked Mac n ' Cheese as it 's probably one of the most unique item on the menu. Service is good and the atmosphere is ok considering the restaurant is essentially one big mezzanine overlooking the mall 's ground floor. Only real disappointment is the limited selection of soda/alcoholic drinks and the fact it 's a bit overpriced compared to similar restaurants.
