Delicious rice ball, someone's reference to a Taiwanese burrito was apt, but really it's a big onigiri. Asked her to make me anything without pork and she was happy to oblige, very friendly service. View all feedback.
What Felix Y doesn't like about Liú Mā Mā Fàn Tuán:
I ate this a my first breakfast on the sixth day trip. The taste is normal but you will feel very full after eating it. If you planned for a long trip for that day, this is a good start so you won't feel hungry until tea time. View all feedback.
It was surprising that pork floss, the typical ingredient in a traditional Taiwanese rice ball, was included in the black pepper beef rice ball. In addition, the youtiao in the rice ball remained so crispy after leaving the entire ball at room temperature for 2 hours, which was amazing. Nevertheless, the cheese was a bit too mild to be tasted, so I wouldn’t suggest to pay extra for this addition.
This fan tuan place has purple rice and comes pretty big! long lines on the weekends and runs out fast so if you wanna try this place, be an early bird! (they have menu in other languages)
READ FIRST! Was closed for renovations! Did not hve the chance to taste the fan Tuan
Love their fantuans! The entire menu is in Chinese but Google translate can help with most of it and honestly you can't really go wrong with what they have! I took a picture of the ones I wanted and showed them to the lady so that might be what you can do too! Be warned, the hours say open until 11:30 but they only make them until they run out of ingredients which is usually 11am! Great place!
