Found this place via Tripadvisor as was staying on the outskirts of Bologna for one night. Noticed no recent reviews on the UK site but loads of recent reviews...

Very nice food and atmosphere. The pasta is really nice. Greatest to visit this place. Have go back with my wife.

"I had a business dinner here after having found this restaurant on TripAdvisor with some really good reviews. Straight forward: this place is a small gem. From the moment we entered the restaurant to the time we left 3 hours later we felt warmly welcome. The service, the food, the setting everything was just perfect. We had a starter to share, a pasta as primi and some fish as main course all accompanied by a good bottle of local red wine. Finished all off with some good espresso and grappa. La Stella serves both meat and seafood dishes and puts a lot of love and care to prepare them. Their food and all ingredients are fresh. Price wise: very decent in relation to the quality."
