We stayed in the Erzgebirge for a few days and wanted to visit a typical restaurant. The Inn Bornwaldschänke was recommended to us... My first impression was rather moderate but after a short time, my enthusiasm no longer knew borders...a very interesting establishment with a self-supported stone fireplace. What Jana B doesn't like about Bornwaldschaenke:
We had made a hike in the Bornwald and wanted to eat something with the children. There's the Bornwald Schänke on the way. We haven't been there with a bigger group, but I know many who like to celebrate there. It was quite empty, the food was served quickly. The facility is very rustic and not really cozy. It is inexpensive and tastes. View all feedback.
This is pure ore! Hospitality, hospitality and food! It is cozy and tastes, what you want more!
Here you get an inexpensive selection of dishes served by friendly hosts. Excellent dishes from various meat- game specialities, such as deer, deer, wild boar, mufflon etc. The ambience is rustic and cozy, for people who do not need modern firlefance. Definitely recommended.

A visit to the Gasthaus Bornwaldschänke is an absolute must for all in the mountains.

The restaurant sprays a nice charm from pre-use times, you must like. I like it because it fits into the region and does not look so modern. Besides, the house has a long tradition and you can feel it. The menu, in particular, attracts with wild specialities to which lumps and red cabbages are served. This is food really excellent and the service attentive. There are several varieties of regional beers. Whoever stands on Reh, Hirsch and Co is right here.
