"A few years ago, I wrote my review titled Don't go there for lunch my newest review should be called Don't go there for dinner either but I have good reasons for the title. Read on... The place is nice, the service is good. But...the meat.... THE MEAT!!!! (which is the only reason for which you would go to a steakhouse) leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a ribeye steak medium rare. Normally this would be an amazing meal, but unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The steak wasn't grams. I eat ribeyes on a regular basis, and I can pretty much tell the weight by the look of it, how long it takes me to eat it, and how full I feel afterwards. By my own calculations this steak was nowhere close to it was somewhere in the range. And it was medium, not medium rare. For a Fr. steak, I was really disappointed. It took me years to return, I hope you learn from my mistakes and avoid an unpleasant experience. But, if you insist on going, bring a scale... just in case"

"I don't have a photo this time. I don't think that's necessary anymore. The Kaiser Franz is a legend in Zug. We were there on June 30th, 6 of us ate. At a wonderful table by the window. We were greeted by the entire service staff, including the boss, as if we were regular guests. We're not, but there's really nothing wrong with becoming that. Everything was perfect from A-Z, atmosphere, mood, the sparkling wine with the aperitif, the attentive and lovely service throughout the evening. We ate various dishes, everyone was delighted with what was offered, including Wiener Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn at the end, many thanks to the Kaiser Franz team! Top. That's why food, ambience and service, all 5 stars. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
