We opted for the Christmas Lunch Express menu. A mug of vegetable soup with a part baguette (sadly not sourdough as advertised) a dish of fries, turkey, ham, stuffing gravy tea/coffee for £10.95. This was amazing value for money. The soup was bursting with vegetables. The dinner was filled with fries, huge chunks of turkey breast ham, cocktail sausages was extremely filling delicious. Quite cold in the restaurant. Unfortunately the fire wasnt lit which previously was a big attraction in this country house restaurant. Not much of an atmosphere. Staff very pleasant. Food was ok.
