the personal is always friendly and welcoming. they take time to chat, both in the caffe and design shop, which for us is an essential part of the service. eating is excellent and served with style. we have spent many hours in the load, just look, but in the course of the years have bought many kitchen necessities that hold forever. factory tours are very hands on and each guide brings its own view of the tour. Lovely relaxing place for a light meal and friendly staff. However waiting times over for a bowl of soup and bread and many tables getting restless with slow service. It was a busy but not packed Sunday lunchtime service should be slicker...than this, especially when associated with a high value brand such as David Mellor.
