We had an excellent stay. This is an outstanding country pub in first class condition with welcoming staff and excellent food. The room was very comfortable, perhaps the bathroom is a little tiny but it is very well appointed. We visited the pub on a Saturday afternoon. On arrival we were shown to our table by a rather miserable barmaid. I ordered fish n chips which was really good .
