"We visited on Anzac Day - a day that most restaurants at the Tramsheds seemed ill-prepared for. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, particularly in the kitchen. The restaurant was full and they were turning away people.We ordered 3 entrees to share and a drink each.What became obvious during our long wait is that the kitchen prioritises their take away window over the guests who are willing to spend far more in their restaurant.Service is slow and wait staff are particularly skilled at not making eye contact.While waiting we witnessed all but one person on another table finally get served. The lady who's meal was forgotten had to get up after another 10 minutes wait to approach a staff member about her missing meal. After a 50 minute wait and an embarrassed acknowledgment that our food wasn't close to being ready, we paid for our drinks and left.I can understand when a restaurant is short staffed and busy, however that's when good customer service is essential. What's the price of a proactive acknowledgment and apology for the wait or perhaps a bowl of chips that your take-away business is pumping out by the truckload?There is a theme running through these reviews and management would be wise to address the issue sooner rather than later."

"My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. Although we only booked our Reso a few hours in advance, all congratulated us on arriving. We also got a nice table overlooking the mountains. Our server Mario M was fabulous. He was attentive, friendly and professional. It was refreshing to get such a perfect service. All our dishes were delicious. The oysters were fresh, the Caesar salad was not dressed excessively – the steak cooked perfectly. The cocktails were also on point. Thank you for an amazing experience! Would recommend 100%."
