"I have advertised a great looking salad, with salad, tomatoes, with a beautiful piece of steak cut up with avocado. There was an employee outside who made orders in our cars. I mentioned the salad I advertised and he said: No, we didn't, but you can get the tropics with salad instead of rice. I told him I wanted salad and tomatoes with steak and avocado. He said they had 2 sizes, I asked how big it was, he said his pretty big, so I decided to do it. When I came home and opened my salad, I was very disappointed! I paid $11.00 for salad, no tomatoes, hard avocado and 4 small pieces of steak!! I'm still hungry and feel like I wasted my money. Could go to Wendy's and get a great salad, but I wanted to try this salad that was advertised."

"The only Pollo Tropical where I have eaten that the food and the service are terrible. We are lovers of this restaurant's recipes, but the one in this location is a total disaster: small portions, served with poor presentation, the service is slow, and the meals do not taste how they usually taste in Pollo Tropical. They should close it"

"Terrible service. I complained my order has not been called, and she found it on the counter with no receipt. Instead of just hand me the order and say something nice, she started shouting at me. I have been mistreated there several times. What is suppose to be a pleasure, becomes a nightmare. The employees treat the customers like the were doing a favor to them. Pollo tropical, that was the last time you saw me."

"This place has truly gone way downhill. The rice in my Tropichop was mushy and seemed as if it had been sitting in the container all day. The chicken was burnt. It may not seem too bad from the pictures, but it tasted distinctly burnt. I ordered two of these and both were the same and couldn't be eaten. To top it all off, I only received sauce for one of my meals even though I asked for sauce for both. And the cups of sauce that I did receive were only 1/5 to 2/5 of the way filled. I also ordered the empanadas, which were cooked well, but just not to my liking. Other people might like them. I used to love this place so much, but the last few times I have been, it has been consistently bad. I think this is my last time visiting here. I've wasted way too much of my money already."

"The chicken was not boiled it was bloody, I have the plate with sausages and churrasco the churrasco was the only thing they can eat, I was hungry, so I don't eat the rice and don't eat badly, but the res was very disgusting food"
