"I booked this for my partner on the Mother's Day of the Forest. I informed the restaurant about the nutritional problems and that we would bring our 8-month boy. It is the best service I have received in a hotel or restaurant in Scotland. We went to the wrong door, and one of the waiters went to the right entrance to the station. The waiting staff were very warm for our nutritional concerns, we did not have to ask. The high chair was set up for our arrival. They checked us for each course and were extremely professional. Excellent round!"

"The food was great, the staff were lovely but it felt a little bit unorganised. The lighting in the restaurant could be lowered a little and maybe remind the staff that what is being shouted in the kitchen can be heard from most of the nearby tables."

We had afternoon tea and had to ask for another pot of fresh tea, and the scones were bland and either boiled under or something lacked as they were flat"
