"Popped in for a glass of wine and ended up ordering some lovely Tapas including tasty homemade game sausage, cheese and ham with warm crusty bread. Had a lovely chat with the friendly owner Paulo who was a great character and passionate about his products. Great value for Money and would recommend a visit."

"The prego (steak sandwich) with Serra cheese is amazing, thoroughly recomended. A Taberna has a very welcoming atmosphere and we had a great time there. The almond cake I had for dessert was wonderful as well. Hope to go back soon!"

"Having had arrived late in the town, I walked out of our hotel trying to find a place for a quick bite. Even though the restaurant was about to close, the owner saw that I was looking and invited me in. I was treated to a wonderful meal, lovingly prepared despite the late hour. They served me perfectly cooked beef medallions with mushroom sauce. I was made to feel at home and was not rushed, despite being the only customer in the place at the late hour. I felt so grateful for the hospitality that I returned the next day for a lovely lunch of fish. Fresh, perfectly cooked and again, lovingly served. Friendly people, good service and good food. What a tasca should be. I highly recommend it"
