"I was staying in the Latin Quarter section of Montreal last October. Restaurants there are abundant but also very crowded at lunch and suppertime. But I took a chance at the nearby Casa Galicia on the much traveled Rue Saint Denis. I was intrigued by...the Galician style menu. For a fixed price which included an appetizer, entree, desert and coffee I ordered a bowl of its tempting and delicious mussels followed by a whole grilled fish with many side vegetables and creme brulee for desert. I also had a carafe of a smooth and pleasant white wine.The restaurant decor and service were impeccable."

"Was recommended by a workmate and was glad that we tried. band played and the music is loud, but that didn't stop us from chatting there during our time, but we also enjoyed the music. I had the bark fillet that was great and the presentation of eating was so beautiful. topped dinner with two desserts that we shared and both were so good. would recommend if they enjoy an atmosphere in which the music can stand hand in hand with the food."

"A warm friendly restaurant that makes a perfect stranger feel like a long lost friend. The food was wonderful--must try the Pastille appetizer. The cous cous was bountiful--try the lamb, it was delicious. You must order tea. It is wonderful and the service outstanding. I will never go back to a tea bag and a microwaves cup of water.
