"Today we had breakfast here. We've never had an issue with their food - ever. Previous visit was around 9 months ago and we were appalled to put it mildly. The day was a cold, windy wintry day. We were 'turned away' at the door - being told they don't open till 9. Every other time we had been warmly welcomed (around 8.30) and informed we were welcome to come in and order coffee but no food orders till 9 which was never a problem. Staff were not on the ball. Today was wonderful with cheery AND efficient staff only to help. Our lady is the 2nd in charge and a delight. Coffees and food sensational. My mushrooms were on point as was husband's salmon. We're back!!! Thanks so much for the fabulous experience!!"

"We have been here on a few occasions the food is amazing and fresh. The coffee is great, a necessity some times before or even after you visit the GPs upstairs. The feta and avocado dish looked amazing but I opted for the Nasi Goreng this morning, served with a smile and the newspaper - Brilliant way to start the day."

"Amazing meal and warm, friendly service, hard to beat manuka wood fire. we wanted to go for months and have made it. we have made the tasting menu of the cook with delicious brot, baba ghanoush, burrata, garnel and huh. each cure was delicious and her was a nice choice of crying through the glass for pairings. I can't wait to go back again and again. thanks manuka wood fire kitchen!"

"Out the back of the renovation and design shop and the decore shows the style. Provides heaters for warmth on a cold morning. Nice vegan plus meat options. We had the green bowls which were fine. Agree with another reviewer about the kale. Nice coffee."
